UNMAKING BORDERS
Saturday October 4th, 2025
4th to the 8th October
Unmaking Borders, a group exhibition exploring the many forms of boundaries that shape, and constrain our lives. Borders are more than lines on a map. They can be geographical, cultural, linguistic, gendered, class-based, or imposed through systems of power and occupation.
They define who belongs and who is excluded, who is visible and who remains unseen. Unmaking Borders can be a hopeful undoing of divisions through empathy, creativity, and human connection, or the violent erasure of borders by power, colonisation, or military occupation.

Long overlooked by mainstream art history, af Klint’s work draws on spirituality, symbolism, and a deep connection to the unseen.
